Community Agriculture - by growing, sharing, and celebrating our food together, we evolve our local culture toward an equitable and sustainable land access and stewardship.
Seed Song Farm & Center is an agroecological, chemical-free farm and educational center situated within the city of Kingston, NY on 50 acres alongside the Esopus Creek and at the foot of the Catskill Mountains. The farm produces sustainably-grown vegetables, herbs, berries, flowers, and forest products, available through CSA shares, local farmers' markets and community events.
The CENTER is a nonprofit organization that provides educational and cultural experiences including youth summer camps, community events, workshops and festivals.
WWOOFing at Seed Song Farm
Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) is a worldwide movement to link visitors (WWOOFers) with organic farmers, promote a cultural and educational exchange, and build a global community conscious of ecological farming and sustainability practices. As a WWOOFer, you will participate in the daily life of Seed Song Farm, care for the animals, help in the fields, CSA distributions, educational/camp programs, and family weekends, join in with community meals, learn about sustainability, experience a new culture and meet new people, and receive free room and board and a meal stipend during your stay.
To become a WWOOFer at Seed Song Farm, apply via the WWOOF USA organization. We expect a minimum of a 1-month stay. Visit the Seed Song Farm & Center WWOOF page here.
